When & where decisions happen

The Economic Development Advisory Commission (EDAC) is a seven-member commission appointed by the City Council. It meets the fourth Tuesday of January, March, May, August, and October at 4:00 p.m. in the Collaboration Room at San Carlos City Hall, 600 Elm Street. Meetings are open to the public, and every agenda includes time for public comment.

How to plug in

  • Attend an EDAC meeting — no appointment needed, and public comment is on every agenda.
  • Apply for a commission seat when vacancies open; appointments are made by the City Council.
  • Contact the Economic Development staff through the division page to discuss a business idea, vacancy, or partnership.
  • Speak at City Council meetings (Mondays) when economic development items come forward.
